Role Overview

Hungry Lion, on behalf of Servios, is seeking a Hands‐on CTO role suited to a Senior Developer, Data Engineer, or Architect ready to step into technical

leadership. You will own data architecture, analytics platforms, and client technical relationships while

remaining actively involved in development and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Own data and analytics architecture

Build and optimise BigQuery data pipelines

Develop Python tooling and automation

Maintain BI dashboards and reporting

Manage technical client relationships

Ensure scalability, reliability, and cost optimisation

Required Skills & Experience

Advanced SQL – Complex queries on large datasets, performance tuning, scripting

Strong Python – pandas, automation, orchestration (Airflow/Composer or similar)

BigQuery Expertise – Partitioning, clustering, materialised views, cost optimisation

BI Tools – Looker preferred (Power BI / Metabase acceptable)

Cloud Monitoring – GCP or AWS experience

Enterprise Clients – 2–5 years supporting large clients (retail/logistics/FMCG advantageous)

Retail or supply‐chain analytics

dbt or similar tools

Looker admin (LookML)

GCP services (Cloud Functions, Airflow)

C‐level stakeholder engagement
