Senior Manager/Supervisor
THE OPPORTUNITY
We have an opportunity for an experienced Payroll Manager to join our team. The purpose of this position is to ensure that group payroll processes are Managed and supported correctly and efficiently. Manage the payroll accounting process and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders with reconciliations and payroll payments.
DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage end-to-end processing of group payrolls for 9 countries.
- Manage 9000 staff and expanding in 9 countries.
- Facilitate foreign employment, regulation and tax input.
- Manage and assist payroll supervisors and administrators with the end-to-end payroll process.
- Responsible to bring efficiency in labour payments and payroll process
- Review all payroll hours imported for monthly and weekly payrolls via UKG Dimensions.
- Manage the release of all payslips via ESS portal as per payroll timelines.
- Manage Group Leave Management Process.
- Manage and assist Payroll Supervisor with all Payroll Payments.
- Responsible for all 3rd Party Payments and Bank Allocations.
- Responsible for all Payroll Journal Process and Reporting to Finance.
- Manage the Administration all Payroll Queries via FreshDesk Portal.
- Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting necessary changes.
- Provide staff with maternity and termination documents.
- Resolve payroll queries on FreshDesk Portal.
- Assist with the monthly Group Tax Validation Process.
- All mandatory master data to be completed and up to date..
- Assist the Payroll Team with Ad Hoc duties and on-going projects.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Bring in new software and systems as the business continues to grow.
- Maintain strong procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
Essential:
- At least 5 years’ payroll management experience in a similar role.
- SAGE 300 People experience.
- Knowledge and experience in African country payroll administration and payroll accounting.
- Experience working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft, especially Excel.
Desirable:
- Large payroll experience (7000 and more employees).
- UKG Dimensions Workforce Management (Time & Attendance).
- Monday.com experience.
- Working experience of G-Suite.
- QSR or retail branch network experience.
